EVENT POLICIES & TERMS


DEPOSIT POLICY

To secure your event date, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the estimated total bill or $300 (whichever is greater) is required.

Your event is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.


FINAL PAYMENT

Final payment must be received 10 business days prior to the event if paying by credit card or check.

If a payment method is returned insufficient and/or declined, MOBITES reserves the right to charge any valid credit card on file for the full remaining balance.


CANCELLATION POLICY

There are no cancellations due to weather.
MOBITES provides service rain or shine.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Events cancelled within 5 days of the scheduled event will be charged the full booking fee, which is non-refundable.


RAIN CHECKS / RESCHEDULING

For cancellations made prior to 5 days of the event, rescheduling is at the sole discretion of MOBITES. Deposits may be applied toward a new event date if approved.


FINAL GUEST COUNT

A final guest count must be provided at least 10 days prior to the event.

This number will be considered final for billing purposes.


TIPPING POLICY

Gratuity is at the customer’s discretion.

The catering fee covers travel, staffing, and on-site cooking service. It does not include gratuity.


TRAVEL FEE

A travel fee will be included for events located:

• Outside of Orange County
• More than 30 minutes from our office in Tustin

This fee offsets transportation and logistics costs.


RETURNED ITEM / CHECK FEE

Returned checks or unpayable items will incur a $30 per item fee.


DAY-OF-EVENT SERVICE GUIDELINES

Unless otherwise agreed upon, MOBITES provides 2 hours of on-site cooking service.

The client is responsible for ensuring:

• A safe, secure, level, and spacious area for the Gourmet Slider Cart
• Accessible entry with no more than two (2) steps

For safety reasons, our carts cannot be moved up or down more than two steps. Please notify us in advance if additional steps are involved so arrangements can be coordinated.

Additional guidelines:

• No homemade products may be cooked on our carts or placed on our service tables.
• All permits required for outdoor venues (parks, beaches, public spaces) are the responsibility of the client.
• Clients are responsible for providing take-home containers for leftovers. MOBITES can provide containers for a nominal fee upon request.
